Man from God’s Country plot
"MONTANA...gun-raw...gun-ruled...gun hell!"
The trigger-happy Sheriff Dan Beattie is asked by his fellow townspeople to step down, as they want a quieter town. Dan leaves for the West and settles in Sundown, where he meets Curt Warren, his old army comrade. Dan is mistakenly mistaken by the residents of Sundown as a representative of the hated railroad company. He is nearly killed by Mark Faber, an accomplice of the shady businessman Beau Santee. Dan, who is now in love with the saloon dancer Nancy Dawson, finds out that Curt now works for Santee. When Santee learns that Dan used to be sheriff, Santee wants to get rid of Dan after all. Dan, meanwhile, tries to keep his father on the right track with Curt's son Stony.
