A Rage in Harlem plot
1956. In Mississippi, the gold rush overheats. Slim (Badja Djola) and his black gang are cheated with the stolen gold. And after a violent shooting, the wealth ends up in the hands of Imabelle (Robin Givens), Slim's stunning sweetheart. She travels alone to New York, where she pledges her heart to the fat God-fearing Jackson (Forest Whitaker). She wants to sell her gold to the healer Easy Money (Danny Glover). But it soon turns out that Slim is still alive in New York. And he is determined to undo his losses.
