For those who were mountaineers in the 80s and 90s, Catherine Destivelle is a myth. A climber, who after having won enough in competitions, looks for something else, and that finds it in hard mountains, which she is going to climb. Among other things, she climbs the Eiger and the Dru on her own. You still recognize her face, but she has slowly disappeared from climbing magazines in recent years.
