I have a bit of the feeling of 'just not'. The story lends itself to a great print; In terms of acting, locations and color everything is fine. But with the tension it just doesn't work and that tension could have lifted this film to a higher level in my opinion. It's exciting here and there, but it doesn't last.

A number of situations lent themselves perfectly to an exciting twist in the film, but hardly anything was done about it. A real shame. Like for example the part somewhere in the beginning, that they have a fire burning in the night and suddenly a car arrives. After 5 seconds of exciting intro, it is suddenly the next morning. Well; really a missed opportunity because something good could have been done with this!

I do like the atmosphere in the film, the desolate, the gray in terms of hopelessness. On the other hand, there is a lot of color and sun, which go together perfectly, almost opposite. Gray does not necessarily have to be gray.

A great movie for a lost Wednesday night, but let the popcorn hang on the cob for a while. Relax in your movie chair, because you won't sit on the tip there.

A desolate 3!

Expected more. The first part is very drama-oriented and later - except for some nice, more active scenes - the film has to rely on that. Unfortunately, the drama doesn't really catch on and not all characters come out well. The presence of Piper Perabo and Emily VanCamp makes up for a lot.

3*

Pretty mediocre. Totally unbelievable that they remain uninfected while literally sitting side by side in the car. And such a silly mouth cap really won't work. If the infection is passed on through contact, you increase the chance of infection because you are constantly touching the mask when putting it on and taking it off. The film really doesn't have much to offer I thought. It's a road movie, but not much actually happens. Just leaving your loved one behind as if you don't care is another scene that might stay with you a little longer.
