The Time That Remains plot
Semi-biographical film by director Suleiman, divided over four historical episodes, about his own Palestinian family, from 1948 to the present. Starting with the founding of the State of Israel, based on memoirs of his father who fought as a resistance fighter, and letters from his mother to families who had to leave the country. Over the years we get a picture of Palestinians in present-day Israel, who were called 'Israel-Arabs' and who live in their country as a minority.
