In Prison My Whole Life plot
Journalist and Black Panther activist Mumia Abu-Jamal is arrested in Philadelphia on December 9, 1981 for the murder of a police officer. On the same day, thousands of miles away, William Francome is born. Nearly a quarter of a century later, William decides to investigate the case of the death row inmate Mumia. Mumia, who has always declared his innocence, is still awaiting the execution of his sentence. Through his writings and radio broadcasts, he gives a voice to the 3,350 people in the United States awaiting their death penalty.
