At the end of 2003, after five years, Somali refugee Khadra can finally embrace her three missing and presumed dead children. Her husband, eldest son and daughter were murdered in Somalia. In the period after the family reunification, Eveline van Dijck films the ups and downs of the children, who end up with their mother in a single-family home in Drachten.
