I watched it two years ago and didn't like it then. Watched it again the day before yesterday and it's really crazy...but suddenly I seemed to understand the film much better and I really like it so much better than the first time I saw it! It seems as if I had less concentration for it then and because of that I missed things or understood less well. Now the film started to sink in more. I now understand the points that I previously referred to as plotholes. What I should have been then, I am now: impressed (better late than never, shall we say)

From 2.5 to 4.

Sorry about the spoilers here. On this page alone I see the word loop twice, which gives away the essence of this film.

Triangle is exciting from start to finish, with a very strong portrayal of Melissa George in the role of Jess. The other actors are also doing well, except maybe Liam Hemsworth, the brother of Chris aka Thor.

I'm not going to say anything about this film, except: watch without watching trailers or reviews.

Nice.

Against expectations in a funny film that uses a nice concept. I actually expected a different kind of film beforehand. Triangle + a boat? I thought I was just going to watch a mysterious movie about the Bermuda Triangle, but Smith chooses a different direction, one that I really like.

I also wonder if I'm going to see another Smith top Triangle. This was a strong film that sometimes has some messy elements to endure. Those who expect a steel-hard horror film will also be disappointed, because the horror is kept to a minimum in Triangle. Instead, you get a mystery thriller movie.

One with a fun and sometimes remarkably complex story. It never gets really difficult, but the details do fly by so it definitely requires some of your attention. I had to get into it for a while, but in the end I was able to follow it all well and then the film quickly passes you. Especially because Smith wastes little time and does not opt for too long a playing time.

Acting is not very special, but it is sufficient. In terms of directing, it's also quite nice. Solid camera work and some atmospheric images on the boat. The filters could have been a bit better, but otherwise the film looks cinematically on-point. It's not really brilliant, but it certainly lives up to the standards, and that's basically all I'm asking.

I enjoyed following the puzzle pieces that connect 1 by 1. The story is not really difficult, but certainly not easy either. Well directed, supported by a very nice story. Some gruesome images in between and a high tempo increase the fun factor. I really enjoyed Triangle, a nice discovery too, because I didn't expect much from it beforehand.
