Within the Woods plot

"Who said anything about escape?"

Five people are invited to participate in a new reality show. They have to spend the night at Camp Blood, where a number of people were murdered a few years ago. Those who are left at the end of the day get a million, which they have to share. To scare the candidates, the producers set up several things, including a hired stuntman dressed as a clown. But after dark, a real killer comes and slaughters the candidates one by one.

Although this third installment is on the same level as its predecessors, it is the best participant of the original trilogy. Director Brad Sykes takes the lead once again and delivers another similar film; the concept even bears a striking resemblance to the predecessor. Consequently, the reviews remain fairly synonymous with the earlier chapters, except that the filmmakers have invested in better camera quality. Everything seems just a bit sharper, although this reveals even more clearly that certain murder scenes are put together in an extraordinarily simple manner. The Camp Blood series actually came out too late and stands no chance against the current, much more popular slasher series, but the short duration always offers some consolation.
