Beautiful young policewoman Anna Manni hunts down a violent serial killer who kills one victim after another. The trail leads to the famous Uffizi museum in Florence, where events take an unexpected turn: Anna is afflicted with the so-called Stendhal syndrome, a mental illness that causes her to lose consciousness at the sight of certain works of art. This leads to a terrifying game of cat and mouse, where Anna becomes increasingly entangled in the killer's terrifying world.
