The Old Curiosity Shop plot

Nell Trent lives with her grandfather, who owns a small shop, in London. However, the old man is addicted to gambling and gets into trouble because of it. He becomes increasingly indebted to the villainous Daniel Quilp, who plans to take over the shop that way.
