During the American Civil War, a Confederate cavalry division is sent out to destroy a railroad and Confederate supply center. A doctor is sent along with the group who is causing trouble between himself and the Colonel. Along the way, a woman gets wind of the secret mission and is taken to keep quiet. During their journey, it becomes clear that everyone has a different reason for going on the mission.
