Stranger at My Door plot
"The faith of a fighting parson...the fury of a killer's kiss! He shielded an outlaw to save his soul...while his wife fought the love in her heart for a killer!"
Notorious outlaw Clay Anderson and his gang rob the bank and then flee the city in separate directions. Clay's horse stumbles along the way and turns out to be lame. He is therefore forced to go into hiding on a nearby farm. He soon discovers that the farm belongs to the local Reverend Hollis Jarret, his new wife Peg and Dodie, a son from a previous marriage. Clay pretends to be a weary traveler, but the Reverend is not fooled. Hollis agrees to let Clay stay on the farm for a few days. He hopes to talk Clay into getting him to submit to the law, but Clay turns out to have more criminal and violent behavior than Hollis thought possible.
