The Crimson Canary plot
"Rhythm cults exposed!"
When a sexy nightclub singer is murdered, the members of a jazz combo become the first suspect. Private detective and jazz enthusiast Roger Quinn investigates the murder case. He manages to be part of the management of the jazz combo. In his search for the killer, however, he always has to designate a different musician as a suspect and he therefore also involves those directly involved in the combo, in particular Jean Walker, the girlfriend of one of the musicians.
