Clarice (Taraji P. Henson) and Dave (Morris Chestnut) have been married for years. However, they often disagree about what happiness, success, and love really mean. Their loyalty and honor to each other is tested when Clarice is seriously injured in a car accident. To recover, she begins to visit a physiotherapist. Meanwhile, Dave develops a friendship with Julie and her teenage son Byron. Here he will find the acceptance, comfort and passion he is looking for. As Dave and Clarice are pulled further and further apart, they will have to make a choice whether to break their marriage vows or not.
