Vincent Majestyk, a melon grower in California has been in serious trouble over false accusations. When his workers are threatened by a local mafia boss, he takes the law into his own hands and hits back hard. He is caught, thrown in jail and ends up in a cell with Frank Renda, a notorious mobster. When the mafia wants to free Frank, Majestyk puts a stop to it. Frank eventually manages to escape and vows revenge.
