Kiran over Mongolia plot

Kuma, a young Kazakh, dreams of following in his grandfather's footsteps. His grandfather was a Berkut; an eagle hunter. In the extreme west of Mongolia, he follows his dream by catching and training his own eagle. Under the watchful eye of a local eagle master, Kuma learns not only the eagle-hunting traditions, but also the history of his own people.
