Fascinating documentary about Acrassicauda, the (at the time) only heavy metal band in Iraq. More of a documentary about surviving in a war zone than about music, but between the acts we get to know the band quite well and we gradually get an impression of the music that the musicians risk their lives for on a daily basis. Given the harsh conditions under which the film was filmed, it is a cleverly put together documentary, often dreary and depressing, but also with moments of humor and hope.
