Another Cinderella Story plot
"Once upon a time....can happen again."
Mary is a young teenager who lives with her stepmother Dominique Blatt, a well-known singer, and their daughters Britt and Bree. She meets singer Joey at a masquerade ball. They dance and immediately fall in love with each other. However, she leaves the party, dropping her iPod along the way. Joey picks it up, but has no idea who she really is.

I was forced to watch this movie with my younger sister. I immediately didn't feel like it when I saw the cover and the opening scene, but in retrospect this film was not that bad.
Although it is the typical Cinderella story, I found positive that here and there a different twist has been given so that you get a Step-Up effect which can fascinate me a little more.
Of course the acting is very mediocre, but I don't find that too disturbing in this film. Selena Gomez of course a very young girl here and a really huge baby face, but I still think she's cute. Selena Gomez is a plus to watch anyway 
I don't think you should judge these kinds of films the way you judge a 'real' film, that would be a bit too strict as far as I'm concerned. After all, it's quite entertaining although it's overloaded with clichés of course. However, the film kept me interested from start to finish and that in itself is fine for this type of film.
I give 3 stars!

It's rare for a sequel to top the original, but "Another Cinderella Story " succeeds.
Although this sequel is the same in almost all areas, the beautiful dance moves make up for a lot. Actress and singer Selena Gomez took 4 weeks of dance lessons to master everything. According to the cast, the last song in the film was the hardest to do. Although Gomez and opponent Drew Seeley were supposed to be the same age, Seeley is 10 years older than Gomez. Seeley started dancing at the age of 7. Katharine Isabelle and Emily Perkins previously appeared as sisters in the horror trilogy Ginger Snaps (2000).
