Fimfárum Jana Wericha plot
The film takes us into a collection of Czech folk tales, written by Jan Werich. The film is made up of 4 stories. Brave Frankie, in this a boy takes on the monsters from hell who are after the local pub. Wicked Barbara, in which some rascals take on the local priest, A Dream Fulfilled, a quintessential tale of a gambler with a surprise at the end, and The Meaning of Fimfárum in which the Devil and a water spirit face off against an incontinent old king, his guard and the wife of a penniless ironsmith.
