"If you think you know him, think again."
Rock icon Meat Loaf allows a camera for the first time in the daily preparations for his concert tour 'Bat out of Hell III'. After the first shows, controversy arises over the way his biggest hit 'Paradise by the dashboardlight' is being styled in the show. So alternatives must be sought for the sexy scene with a singer that is too young in shorts that are far too short. His shows are as popular as ever, but afterwards Meat Loaf collapses exhausted in his dressing room. The documentary offers an insight into the life of an old rocker who faces the heavy rock life with undiminished passion and urgency.
