Just looked, and apparently seen before.
Nowhere serious, exciting or hard, but it is also clearly not the tone of the film. Just light-hearted fantasy-like entertainment is what you can expect.
Noah Wyle is good in his role and Kelly Hu also stands out (as usual) in her supporting role. As said before: Too bad she has to lose out at the end..
Reasonable entertainment, but the fact that I didn't even remember seeing it again indicates that it's not one that I will remember for a long time.
Sufficient, 3*. On to part 2 (and 3).

It was an entertaining movie. A kind of "Indiana Jones light", where the hero has the brains and his female sidekick the mussels 
Just put your mind to zero and then the film is very enjoyable. So don't expect a masterpiece, but it's fun to watch after a hard working day.

Mediocre Action/Adventure film, which excels at nothing and which is also nowhere original.
In addition to books, a library also contains old items with magical powers. Such an artifact is stolen and librarian Flynn Carsen (Noah Wyle) can go after it. Although he turns out to be much more heroic than expected, he enlists the help of Lana (Kelly Hu), a martial arts expert, just to be sure.
"The Librarian" does its best to imitate "Indiana Jones", but in addition to a smaller screen, it also has a smaller budget. The television film is the most entertaining, but despite tireless references to myths, books and films, it has little to do with it.
