Le Moine plot

Ambrosio is a Capuchin monk renowned for his holiness. But then the Devil sends him one of his envoys - an attractive woman in a monk's robes - who drives him to crimes and murders. He is eventually captured by the Inquisition. To escape the torture he sells his soul to the Devil.
