The Fiend Who Walked the West plot
"He breaks a neck and laughs... watch out for yours!"
Naive Daniel Slade Hardy is a convicted bank robber who wants nothing more than to serve his sentence and then return to his family. Hardy, however, comes up against psychotic, homicidal cellmate Felix Griffin, who after he is released, terrorizes Hardy's wife Ellen and kills his friends. Hardy told Griffin in prison where he hid the stolen money. Out of desperation, Marshal Frank Emmett releases Hardy early so he can go after Griffin.
