Native plot

The film is set on a spaceship manned by Cane and Eve who, like many of their people, share a strong telepathic bond with their husbands. When Cane's partner Awan dies, he feels lonelier than most can fathom, and Eva's partner Seth tries to get closer to Cane to keep a close eye on him: it seems likely that the empathetic Cane will identify with the inhabitants of the planet at the other end of their journey. This could be dangerous for a mission to establish a new homeworld.
