Ashes and Snow plot
The film is the result of the Ashes and Snow project of the same name. This is an ongoing project by photographer Gregory Colbert who fuses the interaction between man and nature with photos, 35mm films, art installations and short stories. Colbert, who calls animals natural masterpieces, has chosen to film animals in their natural environment in an attempt to do justice to the animal's "voice". The film can be regarded as an artistic work or a poetic field study of man vs nature.
