Shanghai Madness plot
"HE WAS SHORT ON SELF CONTROL BUT LONG ON ACTION!"
In the 1920s, Lieutenant Pat Jackson destroys a Chinese Communist ship and is demoted and discharged from the US Navy. Under these circumstances it is difficult to get another job. Pat does manage to save the life of the young and attractive Wildeth Christie. Li Po Chang hires Pat on a freighter that carries weapons for the current Chinese government, and Wildeth sails with Pat against her father's will. The cargo ship is then attacked by communists. Would Pat be able to repel the attackers and get permission from the Navy to marry Wildeth and regain his old rank?
