"MURDER.., SO BRUTAL THE HEADLINES CAN'T TELL THE TRUTH"
Despite deeming it a bad choice, yet determined to marry his beloved Harriet Owenst, Steve Nordstrom has finally been freed from the Honor Farm. Along the way, however, he is beaten up by an old enemy, Fowler. The condition is so serious that he suffers from amnesia. He ends up in a strange town, where he soon befriends Ramsey, whose wife Claire is cheating on him. She and her lover, Bob Bradfield, kill her husband and stage the act in such a way that Steve appears to be the prime suspect.
