Remake of 'Valley of the Giants' (1938). California, 19th century. The ruthless wood baron Jim Fallon enriches himself by trading special woods. However, the type of wood that Fallon yields the most grows on the territory of a colony of Quakers, which he wants to drive out of the woody area. The Quakers make frantic efforts to change Fallon's mind.
