"Once--Twice--Thrice THE KILLER STRIKES-Then CHAN Faces his WEIRDEST MYSTERY!"

When Egyptologists open the untouched tomb of the mighty High Priest Ameti in the Valley of the Kings, the first gravedigger to look into the opened burial chamber dies instantly. A little later, Professor Arnold, the head of the expedition, disappears during a trip to the Upper Nile. When pieces of the unearthed treasure begin to circulate on the antiquities black market, Charlie Chan is asked by the expedition's insurers, the French Archeaological Society, to investigate.
