Jack & Sarah plot
"She's not proper, she's not fitting, she's not British, but to Jack she's a breath of fresh air."
After Jack's wife dies while giving birth to their daughter, Jack is left alone with his daughter Sarah. With a busy job and utterly incapable of raising Sarah alone, his parents and the surviving parents of his late wife try to find the right babysitter/maid. Then Jack meets Amy, an American waitress. He sees her handling the baby and decides to hire her, initially much to the dismay of some of the parents. After a while, however, Jack and Amy fall in love...
