Joaquín Sabina - 19 Días y 500 Noches plot
Documentary about Joaquín Sabina, a singer-songwriter legendary in the Spanish language area. Sabina was a singer-songwriter long before the name came into fashion. His texts attach themselves to memory like poetry and are inextricably linked to his music, his recitation, his whole personality. Ramón Gieling opted for an outlining movement to portray the Sabina phenomenon. He takes his time before letting Sabina speak. First he shows in detail his famous house, which looks like a small museum and to which all his friends have a key. He then talks to friends, enthusiasts and loved ones and takes the viewer along to the atmospheric and emotional concerts. Finally, Joaquín Sabina himself speaks.
