How did 'ordinary' people deal with the dramatic historical events such as war, revolution and insurrection? 'Domweg Geluk' focuses on the post-war district of Ommoord in Rotterdam. Mainly with the help of old films by six amateur filmmakers, supplemented with interviews and archive material, the filmmakers search for the Dutch definition of (family) happiness.
