Bablu Chaudhary is a naive 26-year-old man who lives with his mother. He wants to become a chef and he gets this opportunity when he meets Sonia and she hires him to work in a restaurant. One day, policeman RK Thakur comes and arrests Bablu. They refer to him as Manu and after a while it turns out that there is a criminal named Manu who looks exactly like Bablu. Manu finds out and steals Bablu's ID papers and takes over his life. While Bablu tries to prove his innocence, Manu now goes through life as Bablu.
