Uninteresting and messy film that just couldn't captivate me. Don't waste too many words on it, soundtrack is quite good, but I sometimes thought it was exaggerated. Sometimes silence was in order, Ritchie makes too much use of reasonably heavy music at moments where it is not necessary at all. Also the first time I didn't really like Butler, what an unnatural accent sometimes. Either you use an accent constantly as it should or you don't, but nothing in between. Camera work was pretty cool at times, but often it makes the film even more chaotic than it already is. Yeah, sorry, I wanted to like the movie but it just didn't come out.

Nice weather. Typically Ritchie, a few colorful characters, storylines that run together and in the end everything comes together. The recipe has been tried and still tastes good. Yet it feels a bit more viscous than his first films, the rhythm sometimes stops a bit, it runs a little less smoothly. Visually also a bit less, although the pursuit may be there.
The characters may also be a bit less strong, but the Russians in particular should be there. The boss must be based on Roman Abramovich, as bad as he looks.
Anyway, nice and decent entertainment. 3.5*.

No, typical Ritchie weather and that just doesn't appeal to me. I don't like his hip style, but especially all the hip gangsters and so it becomes an annoying whole to watch, despite the fine editing and reasonable tempo, it is difficult to keep your attention. Visually also less interesting than in Revolver now that all the color has been pulled out almost. Stylish, but boring. 1.0*.
