Bloedbroeders plot
A sultry summer in the sixties. The 16-year-old Simon would like to be liked by the wealthy brothers Arnout and Victor van Riebeeck. He often visits the capital estate where Arnout and Victor live. They laze around, play tennis, play records and dance with Arnout's beautiful friend Frederique. Meanwhile, in the attic of the enormous villa, they hide their buddy Ronnie, a petty criminal who is on the run from his father and the police. He hides there without parents or staff noticing anything. At first the boys think it's all funny, until Ronnie becomes a burden and they are even blackmailed by him. How do they get rid of him?

Well, I don't know. I wasn't really caught by the way the story was presented. Only from the moment that they kill Ronnie did I find it exciting but up to that point I was quite bored. The game didn't convince me at all. Except Ronnie, who came across very convincingly as an abused boy who lashes out at the rest of the world and is therefore bloody irritating for his environment.
It's a bit flat for me. In itself it is explained why the murder is committed, but I think it remains quite plain. The gay aspect for example. This is among other things a big reason for the big brother (name forgotten) to kill Ronnie but only a second is spent on it. The extent to which Anton was obsessed with the 2 rich brothers was also somewhat flat.
All in all, I think it's just not a good movie.

Bravo for the atmosphere of cynicism that the makers helped to put into the act and the actor's performance.
However, this is not immediately apparent, so much so that in the beginning story and characters do not seem particularly acceptable.
It does change as the tragedy of the situation increases.
