Afghan Girls Can Kick plot

Documentary about the Afghanistan women's national football team. A special team that was created and is trying to develop fully after the collapse of the Taliban regime, a period in which women were brutally repressed. Afghan Girls Can Kick follows the team and zooms in on the circumstances of the individual, emancipating players. Despite lingering danger, the lack of training opportunities, fields and competition, they remain optimistic. They are thrilled when they are invited to a tournament in Pakistan.
