Justice League: The New Frontier plot

"We stand, today, on the edge of a new frontier..."

In the 1950s, a number of events take place that eventually lead to the beginning of the Justice League. The Martian Manhunter arrives on Earth. Hal Jordan, a pilot, finds a ring with special powers that makes him the Green Lantern. And there is also the rise of John Henry, who fights against the Ku Klux Klan under the name Steel.
