"Making Real Life Isn't Easy"

Rick Kirkham has been filming every facet of his life since he was fourteen with a video camera, which becomes his best friend and confidante. He wants to break into the TV world and soon he rises as a correspondent for regional to national television. His life runs smoothly, especially if he also happily marries and has two children. But success has its downside. Rick comes into contact with drugs and his life quickly spirals downward. Still, Rick continues to film himself with the camera.
