Carmen di Trastevere plot

A beautiful young woman is married to a cold, villainous criminal who has just been released from prison. However, she falls in love with a young charming police officer, who has genuine feelings for her. His love for her is so strong that he leaves the police force and enters the dark world of her husband. The gangster is philosophical about the young man's feelings for his wife, simply involving him in his criminal activities.
