Nos Amis les Terriens plot
To study the human species in controlled conditions, aliens pick a random man and woman from a forest and place them in a cage. Subject A is Agathe, an artist whose explosive temperament is offset by the brooding of subject B, musician Bernard. All kinds of everyday objects, such as toilets, chickens and felt-tip pens, are thrown into the cage one by one to observe what people are going to do with them. Meanwhile on Earth, Subjects A and B's respective boyfriend and girlfriend meet. They soon embark on an awkward, confused relationship that is obviously watched in great detail by the curious aliens.
