Il Conte di Matera plot

The Duke of Matera is driven from his territory by the Count of Tramontana. His son, Paolo, wants revenge and by pure chance he meets the daughter of the count. He falls in love with her. The cruel count cannot accept this and the girl's husband-to-be is also furious. There are several attacks, kidnappings and uprisings, but they cannot stop love and courage from gaining the upper hand. Will Paolo manage to eliminate the bad guys and free the innocent?
