The Battle of Billy's Pond plot

Billy Bateson and his friend go fishing in a pond where they find a lot of dead fish. Because the fish are a strange color, Billy takes a fish home to find out what the cause of death was. Unfortunately, their cat gets hold of the fish, which then becomes very ill. The vet called to the rescue discovers that fish was full of chemicals, after which the boys set out to find the contaminant.
