Shohei Sugiyama, in his forties, has it all, or so it seems: a house, a garden, an animal, a job as an accountant... Yet something is gnawing at him. Every day he sees a beautiful woman staring out the window of the dance school from the train home. Shohei takes the plunge and registers at the dance school. That is no small step in Japan, where ballroom dancing as a couple is already suspicious, let alone with strangers.
