Talk to Me plot
The true story of Ralph "Petey" Greene, an ex-con who wants to speak his mind to the world. This leads to him becoming one of the most talked-about radio presenters of the 1960s. His story and style gave a voice to the black population and the social abuses in the country, which was by no means easy.

A smooth show with the style of the sixties in which a released prisoner wants to put his new hobby into practice and after some effort he manages to do so. Obviously some problems arise and not everything goes according to plan, but because Petey Greene is making a good reputation, Dewey sees a job as a manager. They leave the radio station and try to pursue a career as a presenter and comedian. Despite some obstacles, this seems to work reasonably well, but Petey doesn't seem to care much about those bells and whistles. They get into an argument and Dewey gets to work with the microphone himself. It's a shame it has to end like this because I would rather have seen Petey in the box.
Some exaggerated excesses from the supporting roles and a few forced additions such as cheating and the threat of dismissal but overall quite enjoyable with a pleasant tempo and the appropriate trumpet sounds.

A pleasant and fascinating biography about a DJ and talk show host, celebrated and feared in America at the time, but in principle tragic. Don Cheadle and Chiwetel Ejiofor take this drama to a fairly high level. The unmissable busty Taraji P. Henson completes the high-performing cast. Great movie.

A biography of one Ralph "Petey" Greene who, in a special, open and very earnest way, devoted himself to the cause of the blacks in the 60s in the States and because of his ruthless approach was not always approved.
Frankly, I found it quite boring. Saw other films about black people's struggle for equality of opportunity, which spoke more to the heart. This one, in my opinion, doesn't.
