Midare Karakuri plot

Toshio Katsu is a 25-year-old dropout who tries to earn money by betting on cycling races. After missing out on a hefty payout by returning his ticket, he decides to improve his life. He applies for a job with Maiko Udai's private detective agency and is immediately hired. The first job soon follows: the boss of a toy manufacturer has asked the agency to keep an eye on Tomohiro, who heads the production of the company.
