Fracture plot
"I shot my wife... prove it."
The moment Ted Crawford discovers his young wife is cheating on him, he plans the perfect murder. Ted cold-bloodedly shoots her, openly confesses what he's done, and after his arrest, hotshot Willy Beachum is given the seemingly simple task of settling the conviction. But nothing is as simple as it seems to this young prosecutor: Crawford retracts his confession and only then it turns out that despite everything, there is no hard evidence against him at all. In order not to lose face and to secure his transfer to a prestigious law firm, Willy will have to get that evidence on the table. A crack can be found in every apparently flawless facade.
