Turaqistan

Without having read the plot I expected a Lord of War with a touch of humor. Anything but that and especially humor was hard to find. Also, in my opinion, the film was very boring and it was all a bit messy. Very little happened and it really wasn't about anything.

The only thing I liked about the movie was the kidnapping crew and the ending. Oh yeah, Duff was fine too. Something different again. Mainly wanted to watch this movie, because John starred in it. Unfortunately I kind of regret it.

Watched this one yesterday with great difficulty.

Nice attempt at satire in itself about how the US screwed up for its own gain in war zones like Afganistan and Iraq,

the film also has its moments, but on the other hand, too many moments completely miss the mark.

The biggest problem with this print is that it is too often not fun (read: boring) and the scenario jumps too much from one stick to the other.

There is too much makeup, Duff still manages to get out of it quite nicely, but Kingsley is especially not good at it. He seems to be completely lost lately and only doing it for the money. Only Cusack and his sister manage to find the right tone, but their playing is not much different from what they always do in almost every other movie in which they appear.

Cusack's fight scene towards the end of the movie is cool, but doesn't really fit with the rest of the movie.

Not sufficient: a four, or two stars.

Criticism, but then wrapped in satire and humor. That may still come across to us a bit, but Americans don't really have a good name when it comes to a sense of humor and self-criticism. Given the box office, they also fully confirm that name.

Very funny at times, but not all jokes really work. Maybe a little too over the top. But a very serious message: war is commercial. And Tamerlane, the dubious subcontractor of this war, has too much of a mirror in today's wars. The satire is very painfully close to the truth, I'm afraid.

Marisa Tomei and John Cusack are having fun, but Yonica Babyyeah is the bomb. Well, I was already fond of Hilary Duff, now she can't go wrong. world woman.
