"ONE NATION... UNDER DOG"
An accident in a medical lab gives a Beagle hunting dog named Shoeshine some special superpowers: he becomes highly gifted and can speak. It's a secret that the dog eventually has to share with a 12-year-old boy named Jack (Alex Neuberger) who becomes his owner and friend. Shoeshine's special abilities come in handy when he must protect his sweetheart "Sweet" Polly Purebred and the citizens of Capitol City from the evil Simon Bar Sinister (Peter Dinklage).

Underdog a nice family movie that collapses like a pudding after 45 minutes.
The first 45 minutes are very funny, especially for a family movie.
Of course, this movie is full of clichés.
Luckily I'm a cave animal lover otherwise I would be even more bothered by the dog talking.
Must that scientist really have a colossal head.
There are plenty of negatives to this film because I'm a super animal lover, but only added 0.5*.

Annoying movie.
Lousy acting (with a very uninspired Jim Belushi), ridiculous plot twists (especially towards the end it gets more and more laughable) and bad CGI. Predicate Comedy can also be removed above as I haven't even been able to detect a hint of it.
1* for the effort.
