"Terror and death strike as monster preys upon trapped victims!"

The personnel of an oil rig near Antarctica discover a bizarre type of fossil, a petrified egg. When they retrieve it from the deep sea, the egg turns out to be exerting a strange influence on them. From the egg grows a primal monster that puts the life of the staff.
